Ignacio Caro joins autobiz as Country Manager for Iberia
With a solid track record in the automotive sector, driving strategic growth initiatives, Ignacio Caro joins autobiz as Country Manager to ensure the fulfillment of autobiz’s roadmap in Iberia. Caro succeeds Carl Daguet, who during the last twelve years has developed the business of the French multinational in Spain and Portugal, positioning autobiz as a key player in the automotive industry.
Ignacio Caro has assumed his new position as Country Manager of autobiz Iberia. With extensive experience in the automotive sector, having held the position of Head of B2B Sales and Operations Spain, Caro has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, and brings a strategic vision to ensure the achievement of autobiz’s roadmap for Iberia.
In the last decade, autobiz, which this year celebrates its twentieth anniversary, has increased its market share in Spain and after that, in Portugal, consolidating its position as one of the most prominent players in data analysis and digital transformation in the automotive industry. The new Country Manager faces the challenge of meeting the multinational’s growth objectives for the coming years, leading the digital transformation of the used car (UC) sector and supporting customers throughout this process.
Ignacio Caro takes over from Carl Daguet, who leaves the company after a successful twelve-year period, in which he has not only consolidated autobiz in the national market but has also started its expansion in Portugal. In the last decade, autobiz has established itself as the largest UC appraiser in Spain, providing its solutions to more than 3,000 points-of-sale within the sector.
